Rehabilitation for all horses not not just TBs. Expert care. My horses are really settled and get all they need to diagnose treat and get strong after treatment. They also start horses off under saddle very expertly with understanding and kindness.

Moorcroft is a wonderful place where everything is about the horse and what is best for them. I have been going to their lectures, demonstrations and training sessions for a couple of years now and I learn something every time I go. There is so much you can take home to apply to your everyday horse care, not just if you're rehabilitating. I really wish every horse owner would go to a lecture here, there is so much that people dismiss and overlook.

After emailing back and forth my requirements for re-homing one of their ex racehorses, I traveled a long distance to go and meet a few. I rode two horses who were just a little large for my size (around 16.3 - 17hh) and was told some smaller ex racehorses were coming to Moorcroft that may be more suited. Overall my experience was pleasant enough, but I was never contacted again even though I had a 5* awaiting and plenty of experience growing up with horses. I admitted I was a little nervous as i'd had a break from horses. I thought Moorcroft would be grateful as ex racehorses are hard enough to re-home as it is, considering I was willing to give a £900 donation as requested. I take into account they are doing a good thing, but not even a courtesy email letting me know I wasn't suitable (for some reason) for one of their horses would have been nice.
I then found an ex racehorse myself and have had him for over a year now, I also adopted a miniature shetland and they are best friends, they also have a lovely home for life.

Attended a Long Reining demo and again found the advice from Mary the manager 1st class, she is pasionate, knowledgable and so easy to ask questions what ever your level of experience. The horses where fantastic and the before and after info makes you just wish she could take in every retired or injured racehorse to Moorcroft to get the magic touch & pathway to a happier future.

Mary is rude and uncaring towards the horses. Staff are worked to the ground and treated unfairly.
