GRIT constructed my home in 2022 and I have been extremely happy with the quality. Even more impressive is Blake. He was in-charge of all the warranty work at our property. He is professional and incredibly easy to reach and deal with. Whenever I have an issue he would come remedy it immediately. Even after the 1 year warranty, he would help answer any questions and even come out to help with a few issues! Bottom line, Blake and GRIT have been amazing and I would recommend them to everyone.

I bought a house built by GRIT Construction in 2018 and it has been a wonderful home for my family. We did have a few issues with water intrusion and even though the builder warranty expired for several years, GRIT and especially their star employee Blake, showed that they stand behind their construction and their homes. Blake did a thorough inspection of the situation, provided a hands on solution and even recommended and set up additional work for future preventative measures to ensure our home was protected. I have had past homes where I had water intrusion and a contractor “fixed it” but no one had this level of determination as Blake; he even texted during subsequent heavy rain storms to see how it was going and if it was holding up. It is evident that he and GRIT care about their output with that added white glove service during a time when he should be with his family at night. GRIT absolutely stands by their product and a huge thank you to Blake for his professionalism! Would definitely recommend GRIT and their customer service and care.

Grit Construction built our home in West Kensington/“Fishtown” about 3 years ago and we have been extremely pleased thus far. I worked with grit construction to develop a 6 unit building in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia and I am extremely pleased with the workmanship and attention to detail. The team at GRIT was easy to work with and communicated with me every step of the way. Their systems allowed me to see what was happening at the job site daily, and for a first time developer this was very important in helping me understand the process. Blake and Tim managed the project closely and pushed for quality at every stage of the construction. The professionalism of this company is outstanding and I can’t thank them enough for delivering such a high quality building early and under budget. I will be building with them in the future and I can’t recommend them enough.

We hired GRIT to build us a single family home at the very strong recommendation of our architect (Gnome Architects, who does awesome work). We worked very closely with the GRIT team over the course of 8 months while they built our dream house. We couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. We wanted to give it some time before reviewing to make sure we didn't run into any issues. Almost a year and a half after moving in, I can safely say the quality of the build has held up great and the few warranty issues we ran into were quickly and adequately addressed. If we were doing it all again tomorrow, GRIT is the choice we would make. Thanks to the team for a wonderful experience and for being a great group to work with.
