After meeting with Patrick from Hough Construction, we knew we wanted to use them for our 5-bed barn conversion - this turned out to be a great decision! From the outset, they were clear about the process, the schedule and costs. Clarity and explanations were always given when we had questions and fast email/phone communication was consistent throughout the build. Patrick and his team worked full days and were clearly passionate about our build - explaining when things weren't possible and making suggestions to improve the build.
Our 12 month project finished a month ahead of schedule with everything done to a very high level. The team onsite were a great group - they were tidy, approachable and perfectionists.
Since moving into our barn we have had pretty much no issues and cannot thank Patrick and Hough Construction enough for turning our derelict barn into a beautiful house with relative ease.

Hough Construction recently built a large detached house for us.
Patrick and his team were exceptional. They talked us through the whole process, helping with design ideas and pointing us in the right direction.
When it came to the actual build we were impressed with how professional the team were and how punctual and polite they all were.

Patrick and his team at Hough Construction are a fantastic firm to trust your home improvement / home construction project with. My partner and I engaged with Hough after receiving a few tenders for a large double storey rear and single storey side extension. Their tender was detailed and thought out and gave good consideration to finish quality as well as aligning to our budget. Throughout the Build, Patrick and his team were excellent... keeping us engaged on progress and seeking decisions from us promptly when needed - we felt in control and proceedings were relatively stress free. Budget was always top of the agenda, but the focus on a quality build was made equal importance by Partrick. As a result, we ended with a fantastic home on budget and mostly to schedule. The build was an enjoyable experience, the results are of an exceptionally high quality and we plan to use Patrick and his team again for phase 2! Our home is a period property and the attention to detail has been excellent. We highly recommend Hough Construction.

Hough Construction carried out a significant renovation and extension of our bungalow earlier this year and we are delighted with the result. We are delighted with the final result of the major renovation of our stone house in Utkinton, Tarporley.
We now have an insulated home with the ground floor entirely on one level, underfloor heating on both floors, two beautiful individually styled bathrooms and a nice big kitchen.
The original sandstone has been repointed and cleaned, a new patio has been laid and an extensive new drive tarmaced.
All the team members, of whom we met many over the nine months of the project, were professional, skilled, good communicators, and prepared to incorporate our ideas into the final styling of the finishing features.
We would recommend Hough Construction based on our good experience.
