We contracted with Diamond to have our siding redone. The house had old cedar shakes and we had a lot of problems with insects and drafts. Diamond was clear with their contracts and communicative about the work. We asked for an alteration and the office was able to change the plan same-day. All the workers were nice and the office staff kept us informed. We will be happy to use Diamond Construction again for our future projects.

When a neighbor was having roofing work done by Diamond, we asked if they could provide us with a quote to reroof our home. After inspecting the roof, John Malo, the Owner, determined our roof had significant wind damage that resulted in missing and damaged shingles. We noticed several "water stains" in our upstairs that needed to be repaired/replaced due to the water damage. John's company worked with our insurance company to get us a new roof and repair any interior damage. The crew was efficient and pleasant and what I thought would take 2-3 days to remove and replace the roof, ended up only taking a day and a half. The crew cleaned every bit of debris from our yard and was very careful not to damage any plants we had around the perimeter of our home. They were then scheduled to do the interior work and I was amazed at how fast it was completed. We have also asked that they give us quotes on replacing our gutters and doing work on our back deck. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to renovate, remodel, etc.

We got one of those emails that are going around - our insurance company wouldn't renew our homeowners insurance unless we had some tree work done and replaced our roof. We got several quotes and selected Diamond Construction, and I am quite pleased that we did. Their price was qa bit lower than average, but what sold us was the presentation. John Malo did an amazing job presenting the work clearly and concisely, answering all of our questions in a straightforward and confident manner. Communication seems to be one of the company's strong points all the way around. They came when they said they would, did exactly as they promised, and cleaned up meticulously afterwards. We had to have a follow-on visit to do the gutter guards (they didn't have enough material for the guards when they put in the new gutters) but that was the only hiccup. All around, and excellent and satisfying experience.

This is the second time that I call John and his team to work in our home. Because of the current situation of the pandemic, a lot (I mean, a lot!) of materials are constantly delayed, products arrive damaged and it is a constant headache to do a house project nowadays. I am saying this because timeliness will be an issue if you're looking for a contractor to do things very quickly in your home.

Having said all of that, working with John was very pleasant again. His guys Renato and Dani, as well as all the subcontracted resources were very professional, friendly and timely once things were made available. None of the issues I mentioned above are their fault, and if anything they were very helpful providing alternatives on the fly.

I would without a doubt recommend Diamond to anyone out there!

I just had my roof done about a week ago. John the owner came by for a quote and all the paperwork and there was no pressure for making a sale, all was explained in an easy manner. The work was very professionally done in a day, and a bit, since there was some wood need to be replaced. They took care of the permits and all the paperwork. I didn't encounter any problem with them--I would recommend John and his staff to anyone who needs their roof done professional with a warranty;)

We had our decks demolished and rebuilt by another contractor earlier this Summer. Said contractor, in the process, removed significant portions of our vinyl siding and was not able/willing to replace them. I reached out to numerous Boston-area vinyl siding contractors, only to have almost 100% of them tell me the "job was too small" for them to consider. I was becoming concerned that nobody would be willing to replace our siding when I found Diamond Construction. John came out to assess the project and our needs and spent time speaking with us about the scope/execution of the project. We made him aware of our budget, and he was sensitive and responsive to our financial limitations. The work was completed in a professional, workmanlike, timely manner. John and his staff (Erika and the crew) maintained great communication throughout the entire process from the before we even signed the contract all the way through the end of completion. We were extremely pleased with the results of the vinyl siding repair/replacement performed by Diamond and plan to use them again in the future to replace an old bay window in the front of our apartment, as well as our old sliding glass door in back, once our budget permits. We will also recommend Diamond Construction to friends and family. They are consummate professionals who value their relationships with customers and go above and beyond to ensure projects are completed to customers' satisfaction. Thank you!

We decided to redo our very old bathroom after saving for many years. We went with Diamond because they did our roof and we liked them they are also a Latino company and that was a bonus for me. We signed the contract for them to start the second week of March in 2022. They did not contact us or start until the last week of June. They came in and demolished the bathroom and got it ready. We then waited another few weeks for them to start. Everything went well with the tile guy who was subcontracted and that is the best part of the work. They then proceeded to put in a plastic tub that has completely separated from the floor. They also put a vent in that was not attached to go outside. The paint job was done wrong and they had to redo it because they reversed the colors I wanted, there were also many whitespots and spots of dark colors on the light colors also some paint spilled on to the tiles. The faucet in the tub is loose and the toilet is also loose. It felt as though this company could give us subpar work because we live in Mattapan and maybe they thought we were not as rich as there other clients. The bathroom cost us 15,000 which sounds like a decent price but in the end our bathroom needed work from us to retouch the paint and install the vent fan properly and also install a mirror vanity that they did not want to buy because it was "too expensive" 700 dollars was too expensive after a botched bath remodel. Very dissapointed with this company. They also finished in the fall. It took them almost 6 months to complete a very small Boston (Mattapan) bathroom. We have videos and photos of this work
