Don’t pay there bills ? so sad . We did a job for less then 8 grand. Got there did the job 100% great quality work . Spent money on materials, fuel and labor and can’t even pay that back . I offered them to just cover my payroll fuel and materials and they said they will see what they can do. They just ghosted me . It’s been almost if not 6 months now .
Thank you Matcon Constrution for your hard work and honesty of screwing over small companies such as myself and there families kids and love ones as well . It effects our company and employees to hand raises out or bonuses or gift cards . You know things that good honest people do .

Run from this company , nothing but problem after problem . they owe tons of people back pay , money for per - diem & lodging . paid for concrete with certified checks due to horrible credit . the entire Mateo's family are crooked thieves . they need there license pulled forever. the ownership never follows thru on there promise .

I should have checked all your negative reviews before doing business with a company like Matcon, we will always check google reviews in the future. Will also be advising all of the GC's that we will not perform work on any projects in Florida for Matcon without prepay or joint-check.

My crew and I did over 7,000$ of work for this company at lutz medical clinic and was never paid . The owner derrick refuses to return calls . Something needs to be done as they are continuing to not pay there sub contractors and doing wrong in the community. It’s company’s like this that make it hard for good people to be trusted as they put on such a professional front doing it .

We completed two jobs for Matcon over a year ago and have yet to receive full payment. Terrible management and lack of professionalism starting at the top with Derek Mateos. Matcon will leave you in the dark and not answer emails or phone calls. Subcontractors, please take this as a warning (especially if you are just starting out)- do NOT do any business with this unethical company.

My company FCS Southeast inc.completed an extensive tile job on a Menchies
frozen yogurt build out in Hialeah Fl. the job was completed and passed the punch list the store has been open for business, and we still haven't been paid after over four months. original terms were thirty days.

We did $87000 dollar demo project for this company and they only paid us $20000. They reap their subcontractors off, don't work for them, the owner is a liar and people like that shouldn't be given the opportunity to be general contractors
