We used Marks-Woods for a whole house remodeling project coming out of Covid and despite the many post-Covid related delays, we had a positive experience overall. While things weren't perfect (in remodeling, nothing ever is!) and it took much longer than any of us anticipated, the team made all the difference. The designers we worked with, Sooz, Danielle, Michaela, and Megan are second to none. They have great instincts and were able to work with our design style while opening our eyes to alternatives as well. We are completely satisfied with the result. Our main project manager, Matt, had the patience of a saint. We can't say enough about his customer service attitude and his ability to help us through some difficult construction situations, mishaps, and decisions. The construction team was very competent and did quality work, especially our tile installations. If you are looking to update your house, you should definitely give them a call!

5/5 and couldn’t recommend MWC more. The team did a local remodel for me in my main primary suite and also expanded my kitchen. Just stunning, such attention to detail and the guys are always so courteous (plus stayed under budget and on time!) I love hosting now more than ever and in the DC area it’s hard to find trustworthy contractors who are design forward. ❤️

I reached out to Marks-Woods in August 2020 since I am renovating my two bathrooms, powder room, kitchen and Attic. They were responsive and came out within a week. During the meeting, they seemed very professional and knowledgeable. They said I would receive a quote after two to three weeks. After several attempts to receive a quote and two months later, I have received nothing. It has been over three weeks since they promised I would receive a proposal and have received nothing- not even an email. I am not able to provide any details of their quality of work since I haven’t even received a proposal after two months. I would not waste your time contacting them because I have wasted two months and could have gone with another builder. I understand it’s Covid, but I can only imagine what type of communication they provide once they have you sign the contract. Very disappointed. Beware.
