Faren was a blessing to my home birth! She was the midwife my midwife called for backup when it got tough. Although she came in to help my midwife at the very end with my difficult and prolonged delivery, I wouldn’t have had it any other way. She took over care for me and my first born as soon as she got to my house, mind you before the sunrise and drove in a good long way! I am so glad it happened this way because Faren’s nurturing care helped me feel so at ease that I forgot what a long night I’d had! She filled in for my midwife to check in on us at our 48 hour check up, brought me herbs for an herbal bath we could take that day… such a delight and helped me give myself permission to do my postpartum my way. Throughout my first forty days, I’m 8 weeks postpartum now, she checked in on me and helped me find solutions for concerns or questions I’ve had. She was the medicine I needed to have a beautiful First Forty Days with my first baby. I am so grateful to know this woman and will continue to seek out her guidance. Highly recommend her services for those looking to have a deeper connection to their childbearing journey.

She's very personable, which after have 2 negative experiences with obgyns at hospitals, her energy was a welcomed relief. She made herself available to answer extra questions I had at random times of the day/night, put my first time mom brain at ease when I wasnt sure if I could actually handle an unmedicated birth, and provided wonderful postpartum care for me and my little one. Having Faren as part of my birth team was truly a joy and if we decide to have more children, we'll certainly be looking forward to working with Faren again!
