Incredible! Getting here was a bit tough, but we paddle boarded from Harper Park, and while it wasn't the easiest trip because of the weather, it was not bad just a bit miserable from the cold, but so SO Worth it! Our campsite was right on the water, and we could hear the waves all night, it was incredible. I got to read in total peace as the park is so quiet, so I got to listen to the waves as I read.

And on top of that, the view is absolutely amazing, being able to wake up to the sounds of the ocean and see the skyline of Seattle. On top of all this, the park staff are awesome, so friendly, and on top of things! The ranger was so nice, he came over to our spot pretty soon after we got in to see how we were doing, and make sure we were knowledgeable on the campsite rules.

Long story short, I think this is the best camping experience I've ever had, and I definitely plan to come back.

Nice quiet park, but you will need a boat to access it.

The Tillicum village dinner show is no longer running. So, there are no amenities on the island beyond the restrooms.

This was our first time to Blake Island. We anchored off the NW beach. Went ashore for the circle-island trail. Used the dinghy dock at low and high tide. Easy in and out. Restrooms were clean and conveniently placed along the trails near the campsites. Was a beautiful hike. Well maintained, wide trail. Was a little more hilly than I expected. Great calf workout.

This IS an Island. It is only approachable by watercraft. I highly recommend morring at the provided dock. It is constructed in a way that prevents the wake from the Puget Sound to enter. So your boat isn't smashing against the dock constantly. There are a good amount of slips with plenty of lighting. Sailboaters welcome. Each dock has electrical outlets on each side costing $6.00 per day. All payments are made via kiosk onshore. No cash card only. The view of Seattle is best from the dock side of the island especially at night. If you decide to walk the trail around the entire island keep in mind it's a little over 3 miles. There are a few hills to walk up/down. I started to the right from the boat moorage. Maybe starting from the left is easier? There is a beach along the trail that is awesome for sunset pics but only if you don't mind walking the remaining mile in pitch dark. BRING A FLASHLIGHT especially if you start your walk later in the afternoon. The trail becomes very dark. Bathrooms are typical state park bathrooms. Showers are free/hot. Hand dryers work. Opened 24/7. NOTE TO LATE NIGHT SHOWERERS- If you take a long shower expect the lights to automatically shut off after a half hour leaving you in the dark, REAL dark at night. Lighting is motion detected. If you are in the shower it will NOT detect you. There are lots of picnic tables n BBQs. The little white glowing eyes in the darkness are deer. Racoons will board your boat and have a party. They fear not and will laugh at you. Any articles you have outside that are not secured are considered "party favors" solar panels included. Bring them inside and hatch up if you plan to be away or stay overnight. There are NO trash cans anywhere on the island. Only in the bathrooms. Park Rangers are available and helpful. There is an area(s) for tent camping that must be secluded. I did not see it but saw a trail leading to it. Pets on leashes are welcome. Poop packages are supplied, please use them. I noticed a few messes I was glad I didn't step in.

A lovely park. The West side is more protected for boats that need to anchor. The East side has great city views and the main campground. There is potable water and toilets on the island at both camp areas, although they shut the drinking water off in fall to avoid freezing.

The West side Beach is great for swimming, but can be louder at night with road noise that carries across the water from southworth.

Great place to hike. One of the hikes leads to a beach where you can see the Seattle skyline. It's very primitive so great for people that want to get away and connect with nature.

Cute small island accessible only by boat. We had great boat trip from Seattle to Blake Island. We could see Mt. Rainier and the boat ride was very enjoyable. There is camping park with 5 miles of saltwater beach shoreline. In addition to the Native American- themed Tillicum events, this destination features blue waters and views of the city and My. Rainier.
Nice and clean restrooms.

Amazing location with views of downtown Seattle in one direction, and Mt. Rainier in the other.
