13May2024 My first time in here. You’ve seen the other posts that have pics of this place. The mailbox’s inside are dated. They look nothing like the metal mailbox’s in other post offices.

This place is small and the parking lot is the same. There is an automatic machine you can mail letters and packages from it.

Customer service was nice and quick. Not crowded with a few people in line.

I have always had no problems at this post office other than parking as the number of spots is limited.

If I could give them a 0 star I would. I was expecting a delivery on Monday the 26th as the tracker said "Out for Delivery by 5:40PM", it reaches past then and then at 10PM I get a notification saying it is scheduled to be delivered Tuesday the 27th. The next day comes and I get another notification that says I have to pick up my package at this location. I scheduled for a redelivery because I asked and paid for a delivery NOT A PICK UP. Next thing you know when I reschedule for it to be delivered the next day, the delivery driver comes up and tries to charge me nearly $50 even though this was not explained in the redelivery request... I do not get how it can be out for delivery one day to the next day claiming I have to come pick it up and then to the next day being redelivered but being charged nearly $50!!! This is ridiculous, do better USPS.

Poor in person service here ... requests are too often met with we can't help you excuses and attitude when online advice, including from the USPS, indicates otherwise. Very frustrating. Too bad some services have no good alternatives.

Went to the Leesburg post office this afternoon. The gentleman behind the counter - Johnny was extremely helpful and going to the P.O. was actually a pleasure! Thank you! Johnny

Absolutely terrible customer service. The mailman assigned to my location from this USPS decided to not deliver my mail to me. Then when I called I was told I'd get my mail with a form to fill out. When that didn't happen and I tried to call nobody answered to the point I had to take off work to go to the post office to try to track down my mail...which I still didn't get. And then when I asked for a name or next level supervisor to contact I was told there isn't one. Ridiculous.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding a recent incident involving the USPS service. On June 17th, I created a label and dropped off a return package for Zara Retail using the drop box in the lobby. Despite the lobby being open 24 hours, I decided to drop off the package on the morning of the 18th, a Sunday. To my dismay, the package, valued at approximately $119, never reached its destination.

Today, I spoke with Scott, the supervisor, hoping for assistance in locating the missing package. Regrettably, he was unable to provide any meaningful help or conduct a thorough investigation. It is disheartening that USPS, a service I once trusted, has failed to take appropriate responsibility for the loss and has attempted to close my case without proper resolution or a refund.

I feel compelled to share this note with the public to highlight the importance of obtaining a receipt for every transaction and to caution against using drop boxes. Without a proper receipt, it seems one's concerns are met with little respect or assistance.

I sincerely hope that USPS will take this matter seriously, conduct a thorough investigation, and provide the necessary resolution to rectify this situation. I believe it is essential for a reputable organization to demonstrate professionalism and accountability, particularly in this era of advanced technology.

Convient location. The o ly issue is that it is a one way street into the parking lot. When you leave you have to exit, then turn right, and another right to get back on Catoctin Cir SE.
