Tal was the first person I spoke to when we found out we had water damage and mold from windows that were allowing water into the back wall of our house. Before I reached out to any contractor, I had a third party do environmental testing and we found black mold and lots of other "non toxic" spores.
Tal and his team handled the mold remediation first, and then I had him remodel both of our bathrooms. The previous owner of our house and possibly others before them did not do a good job at keeping the bathrooms in good shape, so I was looking forward to this. Once Tal removed the black mold, we got new environmental testing to make sure everything was at safe levels. Then he and his team redid our bathroom sub-floors, added new tile work, redid our laundry room - it was a good sized project. Me and my wife are super happy with everything. We have a clean house with no mold, we have two brand new bathrooms, and I am ready to work with Tal again.
Another reason I decided to work with Tal was he was ready to get started right away. Some contractors I spoke to wanted to have every single material ready and ordered in our backyard - but we did not want to wait on everything to get started and because of Tal we did not have to.
Tal was always available via phone or text and he was easy to work with.
For those of you that need more help with design, Tal has connections across the board and anything he cannot do he will recommend. He also offered to pick up things for us like paint and cabinets which we could not because we do not have large trucks.
Keep in mind when you work with a contractor you need to keep things straight on your end - meaning - and this is just my opinion - have a list of what you have purchased, keep your receipts, talk about duration of work. This was all very easily managed having Advanced Restoration & Construction as our partner in this - and we are so very glad we did. Now call Tal and get started on your project!

My condo bathroom shower had a little water come through the bottom of the glass shower door for years. The previous owner installed engineered wood in the bathroom so the wood near the shower stall started to rot more and more as time went by. If I only changed the floors and not the shower stall, it wouldn't have been worth it so I decided to upgrade my whole 2nd bathroom. I was also worried about potential mold so I hired Advanced Restoration since they did both water damage/mold remedy and remodeling. The quote they provided me was pretty reasonable and a month later, everything is complete and beautiful! There were little delays here and there due to my personal schedule and because of HOA/condo building, but everything eventually worked out! Loving my new bathroom!

This is our second time working with Tal after he did an amazing job on our major condo renovation, which not only was a huge project but also required dealing with the headache of Santa Monica's strict codes and permits, all of which Tal handled no problem. We were so pleased with the results that when we moved into a new house that required renovation, we knew just who to call! And once again, Tal along with Jorge and the whole crew knocked it out of the park. They did a variety of projects including restoring vintage hardwood floors, a complete renovation of a very old kitchen along with painting and installations.
