I really wish I could give them 5 stars because there were a lot of good things I could say about working with Battres, but they really just missed the mark in the end. My kitchen remodel was not completed by the date promised and their communication was not the best. I also had to point out a few things that were left unfinished or not to my expectation. They tried correcting a few things after, but the workmanship in the end felt rushed and a bit sloppy. I waited to submit this review to see if they would make it 100% right for us, but unfortunately they have not responded too well. In fact they want me to pay additional to get the perfect finishes (that I expected to begin with).

Distance between Budapest (H) & Santa Ana (Cal.) is 10,006 km, but we were willing to travel whit our european RV them to come and see Izzy in the flesh. Unfortunately he was not there, but we were very well received by a lady from the company. Thanks to her. We are fans of Flip & Flop, you will have understood. The quality of his achievements continues to inspire us!

Poor customer service. Sales person Jonathan has missed appointments and no call backs. Failed to follow through on commitments to visit the home for estimates and design. We Do not recommend this contractor. We work too hard for our money too.

I had to call because nobody called me at the time selected. I was told that the person assigned in my email no longer worked there. The person i spoke to sounded like they were trying to deter me from moving forward because of schedule. Quoting prices of 150K over the phone to enclose a covered patio....... Without even offering someone to walk the property. I guess it must be nice to not need new business. Stick to TV Land

Do not use Battres Construction. They will make you wait weeks for an appointment and then they won't show up at all or they'll cancel right before your appointment time!! My girlfriend and I are both professionals, we took time off of work to be here for two appointments and they didn't show up for either one. The first time, they didn't even call to cancel, I had to call them after waiting for 30 minutes. The second time, they cancelled 15 minutes before the appointment and said "something came up". Completely disrespectful. They also charge $90 for the initial visit. At least we didn't have to pay $90 for nothing, as there is no way I would trust the quality of their work when they can't even manage to show up for an appointment (twice!).

Don't waste your time on these guys!

We were really anxious about picking the “right“ construction company to do our major remodel on our home. We had seen their work on a couple of our friend’s homes and loved it, but after finding out they are on the show Flip or Flop we weren’t sure if we would be put ‘on the back burner’. That was not the case at all and I’m so glad we decided on Battres after interviewing other construction companies. We took our time and never felt rushed with their ‘design-to-build’ process. We were nervous hearing from so many other people’s stories regarding contractors (not Battres) not showing up when they say they are but that was never once the case with Battres. Our project took about 3 1/2 months and that was about the time frame they gave us when we first started. We will definitely be using them for the 2nd stage of our home remodel when that time comes. They stayed on budget with what was originally quoted. The project ended up costing more but that’s because we decided to upgrade or change things around...there are never any ‘surprises’.

An estimator showed up, very professional, and gave us several ideas and addressed concerns. We identified the scope of the project. Within 24 hours he emailed us to come into their show room but no estimate provided. We told him we preferred to have an estimate to discuss it first, before we visited the showroom. We did not even get a courtesy response. Therefore, we have gone with another vendor who provided a full written estimate, prior to going to any showroom.Very disappointed!

So my husband and I called them a about a year an a half ago and tried to get an estimate for the work we want done at home. We didn't have the money for the work so we have been working on making sure we have what we need. I called maybe 3 months ago and the receptionist who by the way is not very attentive and sounds like the phone call is a drag said that they weren't taking any appointments at this time unless I wanted to schedule in November. I thought that was a bit long to wait so I decided to call other places for estimates. Now that we are finally ready to move forward I called again and they are charging to get an estimator to come out and measure the property and give us a quote because they're busy and only do free estimates when they don't have that much work . I told the receptionist what we wanted to do and according to her our total project will cost 3x what I have been quoted by others. I'm so disappointed that now that they're busy they are taking advantage of the customers by charging an arm and a leg. I gave them 2 stars only because of the work I have seen in the TV show but really you should stay humble and not rip off the hand that feeds you. Thanks but no thanks!!!!
