What a score! My friend and I were just out tooling around and had planned to eat in Crested Butte when I caught the sign for the place. Seeing it was on the river, we turned around and high tailed it back to give it a try.

Great decision! Right on the Taylor river and there wasn’t hardly anyone there when we arrived between lunch and dinner hours.

My friend had a burger and fries, it was good, really liked the fries, wasn’t something to write home about, but it was still a good burger she said.

I had the bigfoot pie and it was delicious. The toppings were good, the crust was just right, I was very happy with my pizza.

When I saw the s’mores skillet dessert, I knew I had to have it lol. It didn’t disappoint. Cast iron skillet with melted chocolate on the bottom covered by nicely toasted marshmallows served with, of course, graham crackers. It was an excellent way to cap off our late lunch.

There’s no doubt I’ll be coming back here, I currently live just outside the springs and would make a trip just to eat here.

Hannah gave us the best service I have had in a long time. She was attentive without being bothersome. She was quick to respond to our additional requests which made our dining experience special. The food was fantastic. Our experience was topped off with an exclamation point, by enjoying the soothing sounds of the river and picturesque views.

I recently visited Bites and Brews with my friends while on vacation and we had a great experience! The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly. We especially enjoyed our waitress, Hannah. She made great recommendations from the menu. We can’t wait to come back again for some live music on the back deck.

My family enjoyed lunch on the back deck with our dog. The food was delicious and the views of the river were even better. Hannah was an amazing server. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and property.

Awesome outdoor patio on the river, but that's about it.

- First we were sat down, asked what we wanted to drink and we asked for a few minutes to see the menu. 15 min later I had to go inside and get someone. The waitress who ended up taking our table was newer, but good.

-A restaurant with "brews" in the name only had three beers on tap (blue moon, Modelo, and PBR), two of which were out...

- Pizza was mediocre and came out burnt. And not like New Haven pizza burnt, which is good, it was overcooked. Chicken lettuce wraps were decent though.

- The manager came out and started a fire in the pit. Ash was flying all over people and into food near the water and two tables moved. Someone complained about it, but they kept it going.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something. It was just fine. I would just suggest finishing the drive into CB and eat somewhere downtown instead.

Have been so enjoying Bites and Brews this summer. Hannah gives incredible service and adds to the warm and convivial atmosphere. Who would think that a cute little restaurant in the canyon would have such good food and service?!

Super disappointed in the service. A table near us didn't eat their food, they and waited a long time to see a server before flagging them down and leaving. We got our food after a semi long wait, which was ok, but then we never saw anyone again. I had to walk up front to get another drink, a box, and my check. Meanwhile another table near us got their food before their drinks, they had to wait to eat because they didn't have silverware. When I walked up front the whole wait staff was hanging around talking. They wanted to joke around and be funny, but no one apologized. It was painful.
