The team arrived on time and were able expertly pack and load all the stuff in just a little more than 1 hour. They were extremely careful in handling the furnitures. Ser explained the cost very well, his team ensured all stuff were packed compactly to keep costs at the minimum

!! LOST ITEMS !!

If I could go back in time I’d surely stay away from this moving company, even though they were hired by Adams Van Lines, the main moving company. Here is what happened in my case:

My move was from a one-bedroom apartment with not much stuff (the biggest ones were a medium-sized drawer and a three-seat sofa) moving from Oklahoma to Indiana.

1- Pick Up: The pick-up movers showed up on Monday, August 26th, and promised to deliver the items ASAP, by Friday the same week at the latest. The form they gave me was pretty much an ineligible copy and it was not clear what items were on the list.

2- Delivery: By Friday, no call/text was made whatsoever, not until Saturday when the mover said they would deliver on Sunday. Guess what, the head of the delivery crew kept promising every day but the delivery didn’t happen until Wednesday morning (Sept. 4th) at 6:30 A.M., and I was called just the night before about it! So I had to take some hours off from work.

3- They had damaged many of the items and the delivery crew were in a super rush and missed two of my items worth more than 300$. The head of the crew had assured me everything was delivered and the truck did not have any missing items. They left so quickly and I didn’t even have time to check if my items were ok or if anything was missing.

4-Both the pick-up and delivery movers could barely speak English and some of them not even anything at all, making communication very difficult. Also, the company itself is unresponsive to calls. You only get to talk to the delivery crew who you don’t even know beforehand. You just get a random call from an unknown number telling you they’re the delivery guys!

Also, this move cost me about 2800 $, very different than the initial 2099 estimate.

Unless I get my items back or am reimbursed fairly, I’m filing a complaint and potentially a lawsuit (because apparently, this company does not believe in communication!). If the issue is not resolved soon, I’ll make sure my experience is read everywhere, especially on BBB.

The worst service provider I've dealt with in a long time--maybe in my whole life. They tried to overcharge me at every step of the move. For example, all my stuff fit in their truck upon pickup. Yet, they charged me for a volume that was above their truck's capacity. I could only revert this overcharge after 3 hours on the phone. Then, they sold my load to another driver for delivery. This driver simply left my house before finishing the job, saying he was too tired. Also, many items were broken upon arrival, but they refused to take any responsibility. Stay away from this company if you can.

Be aware of this company. After getting an estimate (~$2000), the price that they gave was three times more (~$5500). Two guys went to pick up my things but only one guy showed at the delivery. The guy that came at the delivery broke a very important part of my piano. After filling a moving claim, the company was only willing to compensate $70 dollars. The repair for the part that they broke was over $1000. Stay away from this company!

Showed up hours late for pick up, added at least $500 to the price every time I even glanced at them, refused to drop my stuff off, threatened to sell everything I own in auction. Forced me to rent a U-Haul & come get my things from them - wouldn’t give me my things until I gave them $1,600 more… stole half of my things & blocked my number.

RECENT ALERT OCTOBER 2023.

DON'T HIRE CITA VAN LINES INC.
CITA Van Lines lost and damage part of my furniture:
LOST ITEM 1 - MATTRESS FOR A QUEEN SIZE BED IS MISSED. IT WAS NOT DELIVERED ON 10-14-2023
LOST ITEM 2 - BOXPRING FOR A QUEEN SIZE BED IS MISSED. IT WAS NOT DELIVERED ON 10-14-2023
LOST ITEM 3- LIVING ROOM ARMCHAIR. IT WAS NOT DELIVERED ON 10-14-2023
DAMAGE 1 - TV SCREEN IS BROKEN/CRACKED. SAMSUMG.
After following their Claiming Process through another Third Party Company I receive the conclusion of my case. After almost 2 months waiting, I was informed that I have the right to receive $100 !!!
Please make yourself a favor, don't hire EAGLE MOVING (the broker), don't let CITA Van Lines touch your furniture, don't even try to ask for help to both customer service companies. Otherwise you will find yourself in a big trouble. Overcharged, without furniture and a claiming process that is Joke.!

Final cost was much higher than quoted due to us having more cubic feet than they had in the estimate, but the movers and customer service were very nice. They damaged a few of our items and I still have to file claims for the damages. It also took two weeks to receive our items and we never could get a solid answer on when our stuff would arrive - although I am not totally sure if the 2 weeks was the moving company’s fault or the weather, as we were moving across the country in a massive snowstorm affecting most of the country. But it is something to consider.
