D Construction

Absolutely, horrendous and incompetent construction company. They were hired to repave a neighborhood street. The Flagger left his post and wasn't present and I drove onto freshly poured, hot asphalt as a result of their negligence. (See Photos of my tires. All 4 were coated and like slicks. Unsafe to drive and would slide upon acceleration, braking and turning. Also, see Flagger that later returned to his post after the incident) The Foreman was argumentative and not willing to take blame after reporting the incident to him. He referred me to the office because "he worked all day and didn't wanna deal with it". I informed him I worked all day too and ruined my car because of him. Total arrogance. The Safety Manager who investigated this incident for over 30 days, finally came to a conclusion that I should have just drove on the unsafe tires and eventually they would be fine. Total words of wisdom until you cause an accident where someone gets hurt or killed. I'll be looking at options of a civil small claims lawsuit or an insurance claim to handle the claim for me. Either way, they haven't heard the last of the situation. If you are a State or Local Government Agency looking to hire them, I strongly encourage you to read all these negative reviews on how many dangerous situations they have caused. They will not represent your State, City or Village well. Do not get enticed by a low bid, because you will end up paying more later.

These drivers are out of control. This morning you had the flat bed semi flying down broadway st in coal city and there were kids on bikes. Two months ago you had one of your trucks flipped over on 80 backing up traffic to Joliet junior College. Few months back one of your drivers I watched with a trailer, speed merging on the highway and switching lanes, no signal running the car in the left lane on the side of the highway. They had to honk and go behind them. I just don’t understand why it’s necessary to be so reckless. Do you not implement safety? It’s only a matter of time before one of your drivers really hurts someone. Also how long is it going to take to finish the roads outside Joliet Junior College?

Worst company not sure why work is given to them they almost killed me on my motorcycle due to bump sign on it not a hundred feet in front , i55 2 accidents in same day cause pour direction of traffic, i55 last year multiple flat tires to there replacing of pavement, by far don’t care about people’s safety. Another accident on 55 cause there dumb divider and now a semi hit it , way to go d great job not sure why they get work constantly should be called disastrous construction.

They drive irradically. Back roads doing 80 mph plus. Almost had one run me off the road. N then as he passed called me the n word.

How Illinois backed this company is beyond proper thinking... I80 from i55 to Morris... both ways... Thee worst repairs u can do. And Illinois continues to pay this horrible effort... IDOT runs circles around them... They build speed bumps n humps to repair i80 while milking us... Whomever is receiving cash payments, overseas gratuity, real estate n unlimited gifts....needs to go to the whosgow.. they ruin the highway whilst pretend to build bridges...since the Real owner died they've become robbers...they're robbing the real robbers...how poetic...

Bridge replacement they work maybe 2 days a week. Take months off. Fully submerged a manlift in the river for a week. Must of been the lowest bidder.

Good company but there’s a part on I 80 that they are taking 3 years to finish

Blocked the whole road with no warning signs. To block a street that is so small you can barely fit two cars on and you expect ppl to just turn around on that. The most unorganized construction company I’ve seen. If you are going to block an entire street put up a sign. They don’t even communicate they have no intentions of letting you through.
