So far I have paid a 40% cash advance and was agreed upon that the rest would be paid in check upon completion.
Since that time the work has been getting done but I have been asked for cash almost on a daily basis to the point that I am concerned extremely about this situation
I have already paid Joe an extra 500 and then he turned round and asked for an extra 200 and since that time has been asking me for cash every day.
He has even stated to me that he does not have enough money to get to work if I do not pay him which concerns me as a customer greatly and I know now that I have probably made a horrible decision..
Having a contractor ask me for $20 or $10 or anything I can get them after I've already paid them Is extremely worrisome.
I have stated to him that if he will hurry up and finish the job I can get him paid off completely but he keeps coming up with ways that I can pay him a little bit now instead.
This is highly unprofessional and not how you conduct and operate any kind of business .
I highly recommend that you try and find a different contractor that does not do this to you and will stand by the contract you sign.
I have had to fire Joe and I am waiting on the $800 that he owes .
He never showed up when he was supposed to in always showed up late.
Leaves at 4 o'clock everyday no matter what.
I am holding his tools until he gives me my$800.
I waited 2 weeks for him to give me my $800. He never gave it to me so I had to press charges against him for theft.
