After a bad experience with another contractor shaming me for how much money I could spend, it was so refreshing to work with Jerald at Jtek Construction. I wanted a closet wall knocked down, but for a reasonable price he rebuilt the entire closet structute (since the original work was shoddy), and did a great clean job, and installed Ikea shelving for me. His workers were so respectful and tidy, laying paper on the ground, and putting their trash in a nice pile. Throughout the process I realized I could not pay for closet doors at this time, and Jerald was understanding and adjusted the total price. He is personable and flexible, and he takes great pride in his work. Thank you Jerald!

JTek has been phenomenal to work with. Punctual, communicative, and professional. I wanted to turn my half bath into a 3/4 bathroom—and decided to do it while I would be out of the country! Even while I was away, they kept me abreast on the progress and answered any questions I had throughout the process. When I came home, I was astounded to see the outcome. Not only did the team make the bathroom functional, but the bathroom looks like it’s been there the entire time.

JTek Construction was recommended to me by a former co worker and I was very apprehensive as I have never done any remodelling or construction work on my home before. Everything I have heard before were horror stories. I contacted Jerald with a dream of what I wanted and he and his team made it a reality.

They were very professional, respectful and most importantly, they did not leave my house looking like a battle zone, as I had to continue living there while they worked. They cleaned after themselves and made it as orderly as they could each day. The results were exactly as shown in the design concepts and the budget stayed as originally presented. J and Jarod were amazing to work with. J was easy to communicate with/to throughout the entire process of our 2 separate home renovations jobs. From initial project proposal, to the payment schedule, and all the random one off questions in between; I knew that J would return my messages and answer my questions in a kind, professional and timely manner. Which, after a bad experience with a water mitigation company, was a very welcome experience.

As the boots on the ground contractor for our projects, Jarod was equally great at communicating. I knew when to expect him on site, if he needed to run out for supplies, and when he was wrapping up for the day. He made sure to check in with me often to answer any questions or concerns I might have, including taking off some drywall to ensure that insulation was installed and problem plumbing areas were indeed properly fixed before proceeding with the restoration. Jarod was open and honest with me if he felt unsure or incapable in completing a specific task for our projects, such as staining wood flooring, due lack of experience. This was much prefered compared to other contractors we've had in the past who seemed to think that ‘winging it in a new or unfamiliar situation, rather than bringing in more experienced hands, was the way to go. He kept the work site/areas as neat and clean as possible, which with small kids running around, was greatly appreciated.

J and Jarod’s eye for detail come in handy often making suggestions for small features like grout color or tile layout options that my husband and I hadn't fully thought of or considered. They even suggested changing a big part of our original plan completely for a better aesthetic flow and we felt comfortable and confident in working with them to follow their suggestions while still getting the overall vibe we were wanting.

Though our overall job completion timeline went over a few days longer than we were initially told, we never felt that was due to lack of good work ethic, just simply that some things take longer than expected. We are in love with how our bathroom remodel looks and can't wait to continue to personalize it further with paint and decorations. It is also so nice to have a damaged section of our floor looking like new again and our home back to normal. We'd highly recommend JTek to our family and friends and would absolutely use them again for more projects on our own home in the future.

For me, when I was looking for a contractor I was concerned about getting a fair price, quality of work, and just getting under a contract with someone that would be honest/trustworthy. Jay with JTek was excellent at all of these things! I could tell Jay genuinely wanted the best for our space, stay within our budget, and did real quality work.

Jay was very communicative throughout our project, taking all my text and emails to ensure we could manage our pets and our daily schedules. We had 2 small hiccups that Jay quickly took care of, our tub was not as deep as we wanted which he exchanged for a beautiful. Lastly, Jay graciously worked with us on an issue with damage to our existing furniture in our master bedroom. The project did go 2 weeks longer than expected, I think some of this has to do with how in-demand contractors are right now and then just normal obstacles of a project.

Our project was a master bathroom renovation, we removed a wall, new vanity, new sink plumbing, new bath tub, new tile, removed popcorn ceiling, base boards and lastly painting. We are so in love with the bathroom, it’s identical to the mock that Jay created for us even! Big thank you to Jay and his crews for helping our vision become a reality!

My husband and I were looking for someone to come & rebuild our fence that had blown over a year ago. We needed, affordable & reliable workers to help make our fence a reality. We found JTek construction online & liked the fact that they specialized in so many different things with so many years of experience. Jerald came to us with a quote that was very affordable & he was able to get to us in a timely manner to build a successful fence, the correct way. We were thrilled that Jerald and his team were able to accomplish building our fence & two gates in just one day. Our home looks incredibly beautiful and the fence has stood the test of wind & all the crazy Colorado elements. There has been no warping in the fence & I could not be happier. Jerald and his team were very professional, fast & efficient. They made us feel heard, And were very respectful of mine and my husband’s time. We will definitely be using JTek construction for more projects around our home, because their attention to detail & craftsmanship is excellent.
