Mark and his team have done a truly exceptional job on our custom home build in Truckee. Mark and his team have helped us navigate some really tricky elements as we built our house in the midst of a pandemic. From helping us navigate complexities of a lot merger from the county, town and HOA through through to selecting quality partners for surveying and design work, Mark and his team have been there for us each step of the way. And the work they have done on our property is truly top-shelf. This is our dream home and Mark and his talented team are busy every day making that dream a reality. I could not recommend Mark Tanner Construction more highly for any custom home build in the greater Tahoe area. You will not be disappointed with the results!

MTC completed our home this year. High demand and COVID teamed to make it a difficult time to build, but they made every effort to keep the project on schedule. We were pleased with the entire team at MTC, and our on-site supervisor was terrific. MTC understands, and are committed to delivering quality in everything they do. We didn't see a lot of Mark, but enjoyed the experience every time we did.

The crew at Mark Tanner Construction are fantastic! These guys have been building in Tahoe for over 25 years & they have some master builders on their staff. They go above & beyond for every client. Additionally, Mark gives back to the community continually. You can't find a better outfit for your custom home or remodel.

He does not pay his subcontractors. He is trying to screw me out of $24,000. I have heard from many people to stay away from his company. Unfortunately it's too late.

I manage about 50 properties in the Lake Tahoe/Truckee area. They did a bathroom remodel and besides not communicating the delays, or anything else for that matter, they basically said we have 2 years of work stacked up so we don't need your work. If you are looking for a contractor to not be on time nor communicate, this is probably your outfit.
