I recently visited Pearrygin Lake State Park and had an amazing experience. The park offers breathtaking mountain views and a peaceful lakeside setting, perfect for unwinding. Our campsite was spacious and private, with easy access to the lake for kayaking and swimming. The facilities were spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed hiking the nearby trails and appreciated the serene environment. It's a fantastic spot for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike. I can't wait to return! Highly recommend this park for a memorable getaway.

This is a lovely park. The lake is beautiful. The trail around the lake is really nice (my wife and I mountain biked around it, very nice and easy ride with a small bit of climbing). The bathrooms were clean. The campground was quiet at night.

Love this state park! The campground is fantastic! The spots are spacious, the lake is beautiful, & the restrooms are clean! There's some nice hiking (or mtn biking) trails behind the campground with spectacular views!
It's only 3 miles from the cute Western town of Winthrop!

We just visited for a few hours and enjoyed the sunshine on this beautiful lake, which is like only 3 miles from the little town of Winthrop! What a beauty!
Lots of campsites to choose from and also has 3 cabins if you want a roofed accommodation within the campground !
The campground has showers and flush toilets!

We stayed at one of the state park cabins at the lake. I highly recommend this experience. The cabin is a good size, with a half bathroom and kitchen, room to sleep four, a fire pit and a picnic table. The lake is beautiful. We rode the trail that circles the lake (I think called Rex Derr) on our fixed frame gravel bikes. That was the best part! The trail is mostly single track but not too bumpy. To make it a full loop you do need to ride on the road a bit. This trail is also for hikers! Lots of balsam root in bloom and gorgeous views of the lake and the peaks in the distance.

One of my favorite parks. Swimming is fantastic and warm with a great beach and lawn to play on. Some great hikes near here not even counting the North Cascades area. Lovey town of Winthrop that's very walkable and perfect for a day when you want too much ice cream. There is even the remains of an old homestead that's an easy walk from the lake. Also an underutilised group area if you want to ruff it just a little.

Discovery Pass required. Nice day to visit the park. Neat / clean swim area (no life guard). Picnic tables, restrooms and parking. Camp sites available. Trails to bike / hike. Bring some food/snakes and something to drink. Fun for one or the whole family.

Great scenery, good campground, overall we we're not disappointed. The camping park is similar to most state parks. Our campsite did not have full hookups for the RV, but there were other sites that did have them. The restrooms had showers, but are not in the best shape. The grass in the camping spots were not that great, some dirt patches, lots of clovers, better than no grass though. The parking spots are mainly flat, some sections were more on a incline. The general park areas had better grass and looked good, there was no play grounds for the kids. The beach access was plenty big and had a good amount of sand. There is a boat launch in the park with trailer parking, but no docks for overnight morrage.

Even though the lake & park is close to town, the scenery makes it feel like you are much further out in the wilderness. We saw plenty of deer in the park, and there was even a brown bear on the other side of the lake. We plan on going back next year and I would recommend it for a long camping weekend in the summer.
