There has been a noted improvement ( for me) with in person customer service ( post pandemic). The hours of operation are a challenge IMO.

You have to go to a service center 30 miles out during business hours (us working class can’t do that) to turn on a service in your name I have never heard of such a ridiculous thing I would avoid this company at all cost I have been with every utility and this is a first for me I can’t wait to leave them already! Ridiculous

What in the David Lynch? Felt like I walked on the set of one of his movies. You come into an old building that looks like townhall. Inside is PSEG payment center decorated like the inside of one of them old western themed towns. There was a woman with a loud country accent complaining. I don’t know if she worked there because it was all a mystery to me. Or maybe I was hallucinating.

There was no wait as I was called over to make a payment (they don’t accept credit or debit). Luckily I paid by check. Met one of the nicest men I’ve encountered since my stay in NJ. At the end you can rate the experience I rate Excellent. Left with a smile and my bill paid.

There’s plenty of street parking. As I passed a sign, I read this place was established 1696! Kinda explains it all.

I have an outrageous bill that even a supervisor said did not make any sense and he was gonna handle. The person he had call me back fought me tooth and nail about how it was right even though he had to put me on 15 min holds 3 different times because he “had to run some numbers” and i can hear him saying huh to himself over and over because he even knew it didn’t make sense. He said he would have to speak to his supervisor and I couldn’t never get ahold of him or PSEG again! I left voicemails, nothing. Call and get put on a wait for an hour for someone to pick up and either hang up on me or put me on hold and never come back. I wish there was another power company because this one is absolutely terrible! They are highway robbery men with no brains and their customer service is nonexistent.

Company itself is fine. Seems to handle power outages on a timely basis based on reports from family and friends who have power from other companies in nj.

Service technicians are terribly rude. They frequently come outside of time range given and are miserable; one of them came at 5:15pm vs the 12-4pm range that I was given AND was incredibly rude and walked inside the house with his shoes on while I was busy in the kitchen. Completely inconsiderate. Please improve your customer service!!

Slowest moving company on earth. PSE&G works about as hard as a Sloth eatin a banana. Power goes out and it takes them 7 light years just to assign a D squad of linemen to restore the power. Figure it out ya worthless sacks of potatoes.
