Yesterday, on my way to pick up my nephews from school. This Q&D vehicle sped into oncoming traffic causing the truck behind him to have to break and also me being on the right lane I slowed down. He picked up dirt/rock from quickly trying to get in the highway. The moment he did this a rock hit my windshield causing it the break. I could’ve sworn the rock flew up and came straight down. Q&D said this was not from the vehicle and that they were only hauling sand.
Now, Q&D refuses to pay for my windshield that is not cheap. I did contact Highway patrol and they had me fill out a report.

Rude disrespectful contractor. I had an issue with them and they took it to my employer. Their actions damaged professional working relationships and i am dealing with the financial cost of the repairs to my property that resulted because Q&D did not meet the requirements for safety slopes on a highway project.

I love how my 10 min commute home turned into 1.5 hours! Especially when the people you hired decide to just let one side go for 30 min but stop us as soon as 4 cars pass by. And the best part is when you start construction back up right before Labor Day weekend. Just like the 4th of July

These guys manage traffic poorly. They've created unnecessary traffic back ups during recent projects, resulting in confusion. They recently had merging zones claiming closed lanes, resulting in long back ups. Plot twist, the lanes weren't closed.

They closed a main artery on the east side of Truckee blocking access to highway 80. They directed us to detour on the frontage road going east. We finally made it to Hirschdale 9 miles east. Then we had to go back 9 miles (18 mi total) to get back to highway 89 exit. There was a shortcut to cross highway 80 but they insisted we go this way.

I have called the Q & D office 5 times , left 4 messages to the safety department. I even spoke to the operator Paile and she confirmed with me that the safety department does listen to their voice mails daily. I was driving on 3/24/2022 on the freeway behind a row of 3 big Q&D trucks by exit Mill st and I had a rock struck my windshield. Now its cracked and I want it fixed. Q&D is responsible . I am being ignored , so unprofessional of Q&D to ignore my calls because they don't want to be responsible for my windshield. I am very upset. I need someone to call me ASAP.

40. Especially when you have a branded vehicle hint hint QD construction.

Rude. Unprofessional. Disturbing the peace. The drivers for this company and their contractors almost ran me over in my residential neighborhood, one driver even got out of the truck to curse me out. This company employs uncontrollable belligerent drivers. Be careful around them.
