After having dealt with a contractor that tore out our bathroom and left it that way for almost a year, Erik and his crew were our personal saviors. His workers were ontime every day, worked hard, and we were delighted with the end result. Erik came by almost every day that they were working to give his expert advice on the proper way to proceed and to make sure everything went smoothily. Straight shooters all the way, you could not ask for a more reasonable, down to Earth, and hardworking bunch of people. My only regret is not calling Artisan Tile & Stone a year ago, but my bathroom is beautiful. The only downside is that now I want them to make the rest of my house as gorgeous as they made my bathroom. We wil DEFINITELY be using them again.

Erik has done several jobs for me and my family over the past 30 years. He has exceeded my expectations on every occasion. 30 years ago he completed a flooring and fireplace tile job at a family camp. Just last week someone remarked that they appreciated his craftsmanship. At one point we owned a home on Amherst (Snyder), NY and Erik did some tile work and a carpet installation project. Both were fairly price, delivered on time and most importantly they looked great. Most recently, Erik is helping with tile selection and installation. Again, great job. You can trust this guy and count on quality work. I wouldn't trust anyone else.Highly recommended.

Very happy with the work that Eric and Artisan stone and tile did for me.
I brought him in to do some tile work for me in the entryway and the bathroom. The projects just expanded from there. He help me do molding throughout the house. He help me fix my washer and dryer so I can get it up and running. With all that he did and as helpful as he was I brought him in to renovate my kitchen. He did an excellent job and always gave me what I wanted. His worker cleaned up after themselves every day.
I would be happy to recommend him to others and use them again myself.

I interviewed eight other contractors before deciding on Erik Riffel, Artisan Tile and Stone, when I did a complete gutting and remodel of my 1985, 1100 square-foot ranch in Amherst.

I chose him because he was relaxed and confident in his knowledge and didn’t argue over basic legal requirements, such as permits. We had a comfortable exchange of ideas, to which he added his expertise and additional suggestions for cost saving measures. He held my hand through the entire process and stayed with the project until it was 100% complete. Contrary to the horror stories I had heard about contractors, Erik met all deadlines, stayed well within budget, and was extraordinarily responsive.

Stated they would be back after the holidays to complete repairs. Four months later , still have not responded, I had to complete repairs myself. Worked on my bathroom remodel part time, I was lucky to get 4 hours a day of work. I didn’t ask, but assumed they would be working at least 8 hr days . Project started second week of July was finally completed in November. Originally said would take six weeks. Cabinets were installed crooked as was shower and painting job was sloppy. Was hoping this company looks to ensure the finer details are done but this was not the case

My husband and I absolutely love our new kitchen!!! The kitchen has such an elegant and sophisticated look! The color of the cupboards is a very unique blue with a shading texture that looks awesome and the quality of the cupboards is evident. The addition of the recessed lighting made the kitchen so much brighter. I must mention Isabel’s outstanding design, Justin’s superb craftsmanship, and Kenny’s great electrical work.
