We have been with this service for 21 years. In all that time, while we have moved once and have been occasionally late in paying our quarterly bills, they have been amazingly consistent with picking up our trash every week.
I don’t think I can say enough good things about this company or the people who work for them.
The only thing that could make this company better would be an option to pay them online. Other than that, writing a quarterly check is no hardship.

These guys haven't missed a pick but....I watched them pick up my trash the other day on my camera so I can see what's happening to our new trashcans. These men literally THREW my trashcans from the truck back to the dirt road. When the cans hit the ground the lids popped off and blew into the street and then they threw my bungee cords in the ditch. We used to take our own trash to the dump every Saturday but because of schedule changes we can't do that anymore. We called this company for trash pick up and asked what the best resolution is to keep wild animals out the trash overnight before pick up. They suggested bungee cords. We bought them and use them but they have ruined everything we just bought. So if you went out and bought $60 trashcans they requested then please be prepared for them to get broken.

I have used Rural Trash for the past 15
years. They do a good job and I don't have any complaints. I once left some cash as a Christmas gift taped to the bag in plain sight. Later they had picked up the trash, but had left the envelope and the cash.
Unbelievable, but true.

Starting to feel like I made a bad choice signing up with this company. 2 missed pickups in just a few months time so far. They did circle back the first time but here I am calling again for the same issue. Wouldn't be quite as upset about it if it weren't so expensive. ~$120 every quarter comes out to ~$10/week to pick up a single can of garbage; at a price like that I shouldn't need to call about missed pickups.

Update: I'm happy to report that it has been several months now with no missed pickups. That is progress in the right direction. Still expensive but at least things are getting picked up consistently.

This small business deserves applause for its hard work, fair pricing, and quick response. I have used this company for some time and am happy with their service. In fact, they also brought out dumpsters to my remodeling project in a timely, efficient manner- call them for pricing-you will see what I mean. Affordable and dependable, thank you Rural Trash!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! It has gone downhill and the employees are NOT considerate. They leave the trash cans in the middle of the drive way thrown on the floor and you have to park your car on the side of the road just to move the trash cans! This is ridiculous and so tacky of them. I for sure will not be renewing service with them and would NOT recommend service with them.

Whatever you have to do to get your trash taken care of DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I have not lived at their services address for over a year and have called multiple times after closing the account when we moved. Every time I get a call or text from them I tell them the same things with an ever growing amount of frustration! "We DON'T live there and canceled the account when we moved!" Yet every 3 or so months here we go again with another call or text. This time I had enough, I informed the person that I spoke with today any further attempts at communication after today will be considered harassment!

everyone who left these reviews must be related to them. 'They continually miss their scheduled day to pick up our trash. In the last 3 weeks they missed all 3 Fridays, and the week of the storm I understand but all other days, NOT. We pay them on a quarterly basis and when they miss a week shouldn't we get a rebate but no. I have left them messages and they don't respond. When they don't pick up we get all kinds of animals in the trash bags and that causes a mess that they don't clean up. They must have to report to some sort of regulatory company and I would like to know. If it was a one off situation I would not complain but it happens all the time. Last Saturday I saw their crew at Urbaneks store and asked them if they would come on Saturday since they missed Friday and they said maybe, our trucks messed up. Well so is my trash all over my street........
