I tried two of their newest offerings, and let me tell you, these aren’t your average subs. The Italian Sub is everything you want in a classic deli sandwich: layers of thinly sliced meats, fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, crisp greens, and a perfect drizzle of oil and vinegar. It’s served on a crusty roll that holds up to the bold flavors, with a side of pasta salad that ties it all together.

The Meatball Sub is where things get exciting. Served vertically in a stand (yes, really!), this beauty features tender, house-made meatballs covered in a rich tomato sauce made from whole, unprocessed Italian tomatoes. The kicker? A dollop of fresh ricotta cheese on the side for an extra creamy touch. It’s comfort food taken to the next level.

What sets Schmear apart is their commitment to quality. They roast their own turkey and beef in-house, and for pastrami and corned beef, they source from Sy Ginsberg/EW Grobbel, one of the best small provisions vendors in the industry. This is my new favorite breakfast spot in Coral Springs. The bagels are always fresh, large and delicious and service is great. The prices are very reasonable also. Highly recommended!

This was Friday morning around 9:15
The aroma is great
It’s impeccably clean
The staff is really nice and helpful
But the ordering process really to be improved.
There were 9 people in line when I walked in There is only one really nice young lady taking orders AND she had to keep leaving the counter to go get orders of cream chz and other items.
The cooks and others were not busy as the orders are slowly being placed 1 at a time, there were only 2 parties at the tables but this one girl was juggling several responsibilities and through no fault of her own it took about 15 min just to finally order.
The bagels we got were delicious.
The menu looked great and we look forward to ordering again…but will be calling it in?

My hubs and I loved this place when it was bagel depot. Bagels were decently priced and big and delicious. We went back not knowing that it had been bought out and was not impressed. First we waited for 30 min for 2 bagels w/CC not toasted or anything and there was no one in front of us. then we got home and these are not the same bagels we know and love. I couldn't get past the first bite. Also the price went up tremendously it was over $10 for 2 bagels that didn't even come out on time. They should change their name to bupkes bagels. Back to looking for a decent bagel place. ✌?

I’m writing this review but, I kinda don’t want to. In my own selfish way, I want to keep this place a secret and not share it with the world. On the other hand, I also need them to stay in business and they need customers to do that. Anyway, let me just say that the bagels at this place are incredible! They are not too dense, light and fluffy, yet fulfilling. My husband and I both agree - it’ one of the best bagels we’ve ever had. I can’t describe it exactly but, they definitely got the bagel thing down. We’ve also ordered pancakes, a bagel sandwich, coffee, and more from this place and everything we’ve had so far- was really good. Sometimes the line can be a little long (Sat mornings) but, that’s only because they make everything fresh for you (anything other than bagels). Let the long line serve as a confirmation that you’re really in for a treat. Also, the girls working the register and behind the scenes are great! The place is small but, they know what they are doing. Keep up the good job Schmear Bagels!

I would frequent this establishment often when it was called Bagel Depot . When it was owned by the previous owners I have to say the employees left a lot to be desired - The level of friendliness was minimal but I will say that they had the very best bagels around so I put up with the help. The bagels were huge and tasted great. I would bring a couple of dozen to my office every two weeks and everyone was just shocked with how huge and delicious they were. But now that this establishment is under new ownership the bagel size has drastically been reduced and I will say that I am so disappointed. All of my co-workers noticed the difference. Why did Schmear Bagels have to change a winning recipe and now make their bagels so small. It was obvious to all that had eaten the Bagel Depot bagels. I do hope Schmear goes back to the way the bagels were before they bought the establishment. People do notice ! Now the bagels are the same as Bagels and Something More - not a good thing.

Used to be Bagel Depot who, after many years of searching, I raved to everyone that the bagels from Bagels Depot are similar to, or better, than what you get in NJ or NY style bagels. Excellent and consistently great for a dozen bagels, breakfast, or whatever on a bagel.

Now comes along Schmear Bagel Co. Besides the name change, the price for a dozen bagels goes up 20% $15 to $18, the bagels are half the size, dense, and tasteless. My search for NJ/NY style bagels starts all over again. Would not, and will not, recommend this place to anyone.

Best bagels in the area. Closest thing to NY bagels I have had by far in awhile. They have a delicious flavor and don't get hard after a couple of days like the other bagel stores. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
