Wow, we just had Speedy come to our home in Seaford. To change a washer door gasket they wanted over $525.00. On Amazon, the part runs between 40-$65.00. They were good with one previous appliance repair, unfortunately today trying to take advantage of my wife and son, we will not be calling them again. I would give them zero stars if I could

We called for an emergency fridge repair. They did a same day appointment. The GE monogram we have was fixed within 6 hours from the initial call. Excellent service!

I had a local sub zero repair company come and look at my 19 year old fridge and freezer ( 2 separate units) from a recently purchased home in Greenwich CT. The freezer door was not sealing properly and they claimed I needed a new gasket plus multiple new parts in both units costing well over $2000. They started on the freezer door and could not get it to close correctly.
I was skeptical and then called Speedy appliance service based on a friend's recommendation for a second opinion. They reinstalled the gasket properly, made some adjustments, cleaned both units and spent a couple of hours there ( all withing the quoted service call). When finished they re-assured me that nothing else had to be done. WOW is all that I can say!!! They were efficient and really took the time to do the work properly. The units are both working beautifully and I would highly recommend this company for all sub zero repairs as they are honest, reasonable and really know their business!

If you want an experienced technician with quality work this is the place to call. Our dishwasher wasn't draining. I called them and scheduled an appointment. Within an hour the technician was able to diagnose the problem. There was an issue with the motor's propellers being broken. He got the part and got us going very quickly. Very polite and courteous service. I would definitely be using them again in the future for any appliance needs. Thank you!

I would like to edit this review and state that Speedy called us back and did the right thing. They sent a repair man over and was able to fix our appliance.
I am happy that they were able to complete the repair and we will gladly try them again when needed.

This is the second time that Speedy did not come as promised. They called to say they were on the way and when I didn't answer my phone, instead of calling my husband, they just didn't come. I am a doctor and was with patients! Very unreliable. Now we are stuck with no dryer and very difficult to find a time when we can have a repair person come. Stay far away if you need someone to actually show up when they are scheduled.

Dean was prompt and knowledgeable regarding my SubZero appliance. Two other companies weren’t able to help assist with the repair. Dean was able to diagnose and repair the issue quickly. He was professional and polite. I absolutely loved how he cleaned everything up when he was done. Would highly recommend him!!!

I have been experiencing a few issues with my subzero refrigerator for quite sometime. Dean is very knowledgeable of subzero units and he made the process of fixing and changing parts fast and effective. I highly recommend his service. Absolutely a 5 star experience.

As if this COVID shutdown wasn’t enough, our refrigerator decided to sound an alarm for low temperature at 11pm. We called the 24hr service and got an appointment for the next day at 9am.
Dean came to our home in full protective gear.
He was kind and after careful examination of the refrigerator stated it may just need or cleaning or a more serious issue with the inverter and other computer items.
He suggested we clean it and see what happens. Of course, he was right and just a few weeks later during dinner, the alarm went off and the refrigerator needed the more elaborate, and consequently, the more expensive repair.
Parts were ordered and Dean returned to basically rebuild the computer system and inverter and one other piece.
The refrigerator was back to operating correctly and then the ice machine stopped working. A quick phone call to Dean and some instruction how to restart the ice maker and we were back in business.

We are two weeks into all the repairs and all seems to be ok. We have an expression “knock on wood” and hope we are through this debacle.

Pros: quick service, professional and knowledgeable and understands customer needs
Cons: never had a refrigerator repaired because never had one this elaborate so perhaps the service was expensive but have no reference otherwise

I gave a five star and suggest you ask for Dean if you have a high end unit.

So in the meantime, ice cream anyone?
