The Tree of Life Garden offers some great views of the tree and some animal and plant exhibits as well. Within the bark of the tree are several intricate carvings of animals that might be missed from other angles. The water around the tree is also full of life.

It’s amazing how beautifully animals have been carved into the bark. Definite photograph moment in Disneys Animal Kingdom. There are restrooms, drinking water fountain and gift or souvenir shops around.

The Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is truly breathtaking. Even as a bit of rain started to fall, there was something enchanting about being alone with this majestic icon, surrounded by peaceful quiet. This is an amazing attraction. This is not the hidden gem, but the sparkling gem of Disney Animal Kingdom. From the Winged Encounters show in the morning with exotic birds shooting by six inches from your head, to the light show painting every square inch of the tree at night, this tree is… full of life! There are hundreds of animal carvings throughout the massive trunk of the tree. There are also hidden trails that allow you to walk up to and around the tree. Check it out if you’re in AK.

Of all the Disney Parks, Animal Kingdom isn't one of my favorites. However, whenever we come here the one thing that I know I'm going to love seeing is the Tree of Life. It's so enormous and impressive everytime I get to see it. The artists did a fantastic job of creating it and trying to incorporate all of the animals found at the park. It's always a great sight to see and I truly appreciate the scope of the endeavour they took to put it together!
