c'est le meilleur moment ,lorsque l'on arrive ,une salle spacieuse ,climatisée ,avec beaucoup de personnel qui sont aux petits soins pour vous aider ,possibilité de se restaurer avant de prenre un taxi ou un autre bus ,j'adore cet enroit tres securisé et pour info les taxis ont un tarif es plus raisonnables ,bravo au staff

I came and left at this station on the Amtrak train. The employees here were great . It was after Christmas and they had the polar express train for the children there and it was a sight to see ! The pajamas and the store was there. My first experience on the train and it was pretty nice coming into and out of New Orleans !

First trip to the Union Passenger Terminal in New Orleans. It was fine. Clean, and plenty of seats.

Train travel was nice, but the last two trips arriving in New Orleans I requested assistance at the terminal and was left to fend for myself. The cart came by to pick me up to ride but was already full and they never came back. I was left standing until no one was around and took everything I had to get to the terminal. No one even checks back to see if anyone is left outside. I am hesitant to ride again. Also the estimated arrival time on the website is not accurate. Close to arrival time it keeps pushing it back at the last minute. Don't trust it.

I went here to pick up a family member and the first thing I noticed was that this area is very sketchy. I parked at the nearby parking lot and could only hope for the best while I was inside. The terminal is pretty decent, with a Subway, gift shop, ATM, vending machines and plenty of seating. You should have everything you need if you have a long wait. There were plenty of staff walking around and they all seemed to be very helpful to those who were waiting. If you’re arriving, there are plenty of taxis outside of the main entrance.

Open, mostly clean train terminal. Food options are present, but limited. The bathrooms were pretty clean and in good condition. There were plenty of seats and the waiting room was open and airy. Staff were efficient and professional. There were some...odd murals around the walls too, so you had something to ponder while waiting. So overall nothing fancy but a decent place to wait for a train.

This is a very nice transportation center in New Orleans.
It's easy to navigate, there are a few places to eat and buy drinks and snacks before leaving, and the staff are helpful and friendly.

If I could give negative stars I would I am traveling as we speak do not do not travel amtrak it is the worst experience you could imagine horrible service they treat you like absolute garbage I traveled from fulton,KY and now from Louisiana new orleans to houston and still treated horrible they speak and treat you just terrible. I am a independent journalist and have been documenting my trip and posting on social media so people can see how bad it is to travel amtrak. Pay the extra fly.
